Muirfield Village Makeover & 2021 PGA Memorial Golf Tournament Predictions
Jack Nicklaus is taking "one last bite"
Muirfield Village is Jack's baby and has always been his golf course design dream since 1974. Jack had to take one more crack at redesigning his beloved golf course. During the final holes of the 2020 Memorial Golf Tournament, you could already see the greens being ripped up by the grounds crew. Jack had a vision and he delivered that vision in just under 1 year!
Obviously, the course will be very different, but according to Jack, it will not be necessarily more difficult. it is is supposed to be better. Not only that, better for all golfers at any skill level.
Tournament Predictions
Jordan Spieth (14-1)
His last 11 starts have resulted in a victory and 8 top 10's. Looks like we have the Spieth from old and you can see the swagger. You have to go with the hot hand. If Spieth can play like he has been playing and show up on Sunday, we think he has the "W" in the bag.
Colin Morikawa (16-1)
3 Top 15's in his last 15 starts and this course sets up perfectly for his fade. Not only that, he won at Muirfield Village just last year!
